are hosts responsible for their drunk guests ?

the supreme court of canada will try to determine if party hosts are responsible if one of their guests drives home drunk and gets into an accident. my personal opinion is that hosts should not be responsible if their guests are of the legal drinking age and especially should not be responsible if said guests bring their own alcohol. i am also of the opinion that bartenders and bar owners should not be responsible for patrons who drive home drunk. if you're old enough to drink you're old enough to be responsible for the consequences of your actions while drinking.
