another star trek movie is apparently in the works. for those of you that don't know me, i am excited beyond belief. although im not overly thrilled about the apparent plot of this movie, i have never been completely disapointed by any trek movie. from what ive read so far the movie will be about the early years of james kirk and spock following them from starfleet academy to their first space mission. i am skeptical about who could pull off younger versions of william shatner and leonard nimoy, but i am still pumped. anyways, on another sci fi note, i am currently watching the new battlestar galactica and it rocks. other than that nighty night.

As long as Spock and Kirk aren't Leonardo Decaprio, and Ben Affleck, I think it'll be fine.
Have you ever downloaded and watched Starwrek.com the spoof of Star Trek and Babylon 5?
kirk and spock are such iconic figures with star trek that im not sure if anyone can pull off playing them other nimoy and shatner. we all saw what they looked like at that age, it could be like when they replaced becky on roseanne, and laurie on that seventies show. but im sure you're right and it won't do any worse than any other trek flick out there. im a believer though, that they should explore the story behind the romulan/earth war more.
