Conservative Budget Passes Unanimously thanks to a Procedural Error in Parliament.
the conservatives first budget passed on tuesday with unanimous consent in the house of commons. the budget passed because of what is known as a 'voice vote', in which those opposed to a law shout out nay and those in favour shout yay. apparently the liberals and the NDP didn't realize what was going on and didn't vote.

I heard about this on TVO's Studio 2 Power Hour. The panel thinks it's the first time the budget has passed unanimously. After all their huffing and puffing, they couldn't even pay attention when the word "budget" was said. Too too funny!
