roger dier, whos apartment in 1963 was used to hide Frank Sinatra Jr. during the time he was kidnapped recently had another form of rat pack at his current home. he originally bought a baby rat with the intention of feeding it to his pet python, but couldn't bare to part with the little rodent. shortly after he bought four more rats and over the next four years those original five rats turned into over 1300. mr dier was charged with misdemeanor animal cruelty because when animal control agents arrived they found rats stacked six deep in cages and many had to be euthanized because of missing eyes and limbs.
