the messenger was filmed south of Abernethy in the Qu'appelle Valley near Katepwa Beach. here is the trailer for the movie, looks pretty good.

several pictures from the past couple parades during the Abernethy Fair and homecoming have been posted in this new gallery including the one below of myself driving the S.T.C. Anniversary bus.

Carol Sherrard who was the webmaster for the Abernethy Homecoming website and is currently the webmaster for the Abernethy Agricultural Society website has sent me pictures that used to be on the Abernethy Homecoming website.
