During the summer months there is no better place to get a little tight than the Katepwa Bar. People from the neighbouring communities of Abernethy, Balcarres, Indian Head, Fort Qu'appelle, and even Regina make regular visits. There is a good sized deck/patio to sit on if the weather is nice as well as pool tables and VLT's inside. The kitchen serves an amazing menu which includes the very tasty main beach burger. Some of the draw backs to this bar include the fact there is no draft beer, no jukebox, off-sale is only sold in cans, and with a couple obvious exceptions most of the waitresses are insufferable bitches who don't understand that local people who come in every weekend and drop hundreds of dollars on liquor and tips should be catered to and not lectured about their so called loud and rauchous behaviour.
