Breakfast Meat Is Back
Its been a while since i've posted, primarily because our host was having problems, but even if it wasn't there isn't a lot that was worth posting about.
One thing that was pretty neat happened today. A movie called Downloading Nancy was being filmed at the STC bus depot in Regina today.
On February 17th the annual snowpitch tournament in Balcarres is taking place followed by a cabaret at the hall.

Hannibal Rising
In 1944, in a war-ravaged Lithuania, a young Hannibal Lecter (Gaspard Ulliel) finds himself, his parents, and his sister Mischa driven out of their seemingly impenetrable castle by the Eastern Front. Although Hannibal survives, the rest of his family perishes. His parents are killed during battle and his sister is murdered by Nazi sympathizers. Once the horrific fighting comes to an end, a traumatized and penniless Lecter escapes to Paris, hoping to reunite with his uncle, who was actually killed during the war as well. His attractive Japanese widow, Lady Murasaki (Li Gong), offers her hospitality to the stray. With time, she is able to pass on some of her unique wisdom onto the boy, helping him become a sophisticated and cultured young man. A new fascination soon takes over Hannibal. A sick obsession with dead bodies allows him to grow into an exceptional physician, but it also proves to be a precursor to his sociopath tendencies. As Hannibal rehashes the horrors of the war inside his mind, the suffering his family endured continues to haunt him. Still holding on to the memory of his sister, he decides to avenge her death, even if it means hunting down those responsible one by one.

Bobby
My Dad and I went and saw Bobby last night in Regina. This flick wasn't terrible but for all the well known and talented actors in it I think it could have been better.
In addition to the actors listed and pictured in the poster below Ashton Kutcher was in it, he played a drug dealer who gave two of the people working on Kennedy's campaign LSD, they then proceeded to play tennis stoned, throw t.v.'s out the window, and tried to take a crap in a cats litter box(definately one of the funniest scenes in the movie).
Martin Sheen was also in it, and I realized I will never be able to picture him as anyone except President Bartlet from The West Wing.
Some of the other movies I've seen lately include; James Bond Casino Royale, The Departed, and I know I've seen others too but I can't think of them right now

The alleged spy was arrested using a rarely used National Security Certificate because he was considered a danger to Canada for espionage. Authorities haven't release the mans nationality but are comparing the case to those of Russian spies captured in the past.

New Movies Added
